Every Friday and Saturday evening, Valley Vineyards transforms into Southwest Ohio’s most unique dining destination. Our legendary grill-your-own cookout is a tradition that has been bringing friends, families, and neighbors together for decades.
Picture this: a warm evening at the vineyard, the aroma of charcoal grills filling the air, live music playing under the open sky, and a glass of handcrafted Ohio wine in your hand. That is the Valley Vineyards cookout, and there is nothing else quite like it.
How It Works
- Make Your Reservation — Call us at (513) 899-2485 to reserve your table. Reservations are seated between 5:00 and 7:30 PM.
- Choose Your Dinner — Select from our House Dinner, Vintner Dinner, or Buffet Only option when you arrive.
- Hit the Grill — We provide the charcoal grill and your protein. You cook it exactly how you like it. Our staff is happy to help if you need tips.
- Enjoy the Buffet — Load up on our full buffet spread including salad bar, seasoned green beans, steamed broccoli and carrots, macaroni and cheese, baked potatoes, and Texas toast.
- Save Room for Dessert — Finish with brownies, cheesecake, pecan pie, or chocolate mousse pie.
Dinner Options
House Dinner — $44
Your choice of New York Strip, Salmon, Shrimp, or Crab Cakes. Includes two drink tickets for any house wine, beer, or wine slushie, plus the full buffet and desserts.
Vintner Dinner — $55
Filet Mignon with two premium drink tickets covering any wine, beer, or wine slushie. Please notify us when making your reservation if you plan to order filet, as supplies are limited.
Buffet Only — $30
Perfect for vegetarians or those who want to enjoy the full buffet, desserts, and two drink tickets without a protein selection.
Guests Under 21 & Alcohol-Free Options
Reduced pricing available with fountain drinks and unlimited refills. Children under 5 eat for free.

What is included in the cookout dinner?
The House Dinner ($44) includes your choice of New York Strip, Salmon, Shrimp, or Crab Cakes plus two drink tickets for any house wine, beer, or wine slushie, along with our full buffet featuring salad bar, seasoned green beans, broccoli, mac and cheese, baked potatoes, Texas toast, and desserts. The Vintner Dinner ($55) upgrades to Filet Mignon with premium drink tickets. A Buffet Only option is also available for $30.
Do I need a reservation for the cookout?
Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling (513) 899-2485. Reservations are seated between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM. The buffet closes at 9:00 PM, and since we use charcoal grills, we recommend starting your grilling by 8:00 PM.
Is the cookout family-friendly?
Absolutely. We welcome guests of all ages and parties of all sizes. Guests under 21 enjoy reduced pricing — the House Dinner is $27, Vintner Dinner is $38, and Buffet Only is $15. Children under 5 eat for free. We also offer alcohol-free options with fountain drinks and unlimited refills.
Is there live music at the cookout?

Can I book a private cookout outside of regular hours?
